An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Senior theatre practitioner in Theatres 1 - 5, We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic candidate who wish to enhance their career and join our team. dual role preferred.

The post holder requires minimum 2 years' experience at Band 5. Relevant and up to date Mentor /Teaching sills. Will need to have demonstrated some leadership qualities and completed leadership modules. . The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate theatre lists either from a scrub or anaesthetic skill base, managing elective and emergency list.

Support the Deputy theatre co-ordinators and Band 7's. with the smooth running of the department. Taking Charge of department when required.You will gain a wide range of experience and can expand your skills and knowledge in this challenging environment.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic candidates with the ability to work well within a busy dynamic unit. We require you to have excellent scrub / anaesthetic and leadership Skill.

Relevant and up to date Mentorship /Teaching skills are essential to the role.

The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate the smooth running of the operating list and supporting the team in theatre. When required manage the department in the absence of the Deputies and Band 7's.

Staff need to be able to work flexibly to cover service requirements.

Please understand that although this position is at Royal Stoke we are one hospital with County and you may-be required to work there on occasion.
