Approximately 100 AF ablation cases are performed using cryoablation. Both CARTO3 V7 and EnSite Precision mapping systems are used frequently to assist complex procedures. In the same period, there were approximately 700 device procedures, including CRT and ICDs.All types of ablation are undertaken including atrial tachycardia, flutter and fibrillation as well as VT ablation including the epicardial VT approach. EP research is very active in the department with ESHT as the lead site for a multi-centre NIH portfolio study in addition to several other studies.
