We have been successful in obtaining funding to grow our service, in response to increasing numbers of referrals and wait times, and are looking to recruit a number of substantive clinicians.

We are looking to recruit a band 6 clinician to work alongside our experienced staff at other grades, and develop a specialism in working with able adults on the autism spectrum.

We carry out our assessments according to a NICE gold standard pathway, using tools such as the ADOS, ADI-R, CAT-Q, DISCO, and- whilst we would like you to be familiar with working with people with autism, we would expect to provide training and supervision around these assessments.

Working in the Swindon Adult Autism Diagnostic Service gives you the chance to practice and develop your highly specialised skills in a team where staff love what they do, are committed to developing and delivering services that reflect national standards for best practice, and take pride in excellence in our work. Our staff choose to work here because it gives them the chance to focus and immerse themselves within the field of adult autism, and because feedback from service users repeatedly tells us that we offer services which can be life changing and are highly valued by the people we support. This makes our work truly rewarding.
