An exciting opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join the Information Department. An apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for you to explore the NHS and to begin a journey that will provide an exciting and fulfilling career pathway.
You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will work towards completion of the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work in conjunction with and in support of colleagues in the Information Department, to assist in the provision of a comprehensive information service to managers and healthcare professionals.
Our function is to collate, prepare and distribute data across the Trust and you will become an integral part of the team working alongside your Analyst colleagues.
You must be confident, an excellent communicator, and able to work with existing procedures and processes within the Team. You need an eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will be fully supported and have the opportunity to develop strong IT application skills.

Job responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute routine reports used operationally throughout the Trust.
- Assist with the processing and production of data submissions to meet external reporting requirements.
- Log ad-hoc requests made into the Department.
- Ensure procedural documentation is kept up to date update and review as required.
- To be aware of and inform senior information colleagues of any issues and problems with respect to data quality and completeness.
- To keep patient information confidential at all times, abiding by the Trust's Confidentiality and Data Protection Policies.
