We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurses with 2 years of post registration experience to join us on Keate ward. It is a mixed surgical ward with 21 bedded caring patients with surgical problems and TBI patients we provide rehabilitation.

Main duties of the job

To ensure the provision of excellent nursing care and effective management of patients on the ward. Through a holistic approach to assessment of their individual needs and co-ordination and liaison with both Primary and Secondary multidisciplinary health care team. Effective staff management and support senior team to run the ward effectively.

  • RN (general)
  • Relevant specialist course equivalent level of competency.

Desirable criteria
  • Educated to Degree/diploma level
  • Clinical Leadership Programme
  • Evidence of audit or research project

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Assessing, planning and evaluating patient care according to individual needs.
