If so Imperial has an exciting opportunity for you at St Mary's Hospital with the scope to develop your career within the trust.

We have a band 5 Staff Nurse post available in our Integrated Sexual Health department.

The Jefferiss Wing is a busy, dynamic sexual and reproductive health clinic, with between 150-180 patients seen each day. We offer a wide range of services including screening for sexually transmitted infections, nurse-led follow up and treatment clinics, services for people who have experienced sexual assault, and other specialist clinics.

Our patients attend with a variety of sexual health and contraceptive needs, requiring care and comprehensive assessment and treatment by both medical and nursing teams. The department suits candidates who want to work in a fast-paced environment and develop sexual health and contraceptive nursing skills.

The ideal candidate would have post-registration experience in sexual & reproductive health, though this is not essential and at least 1-year post registration experience as a general nurse.

In return, we would support you to develop your career with a recognized internal/external taught pathway to ensure we provide you with the necessary tools to become a specialist nurse.

  • Monitor and maintain policies, standards of nursing care and staff development, as part of the nursing team and MDT to maintain a safe working environment.
