Specialist Nurse in Children’s Learning Disabilities
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay scale: Band 6
Permanent position.
Are you an experienced registered Learning Disability /Mental health Nurse who is committed to providing outstanding patient care? Are you passionate about working with Children and Young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities?
Then we need you!
The Children’s Community Learning Disability team are expanding and have an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative Specialist Nurse who has experience of working with children who have a learning disability and their families. The post holder has the opportunity to work alongside an experienced group of Learning disability nurses, psychologists, Occupational therapist and psychiatrist.
In MPFT Children and Families Mental Health Function, we work with young people who have a wide range of needs using an inclusive, person centered approach. Our model places our young people’s needs at the heart of what we offer to ensure that they are getting the best care possible. The Children’s learning disability team offers: support and intervention for young people with emotional and physical healthcare needs who maybe at risk of placement breakdown or hospital admission.
