Bradford Nutrition and Dietetic Service

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic dietitian, who is enthusiastic, proactive and motivated, looking to progress and develop their skills in a more specialist position.

We are recruiting to a 12 month fixed term role, for a dietitian to provide ongoing support to our inpatient wards, supporting patients requiring complex nutritional support. You will have the opportunity to support patients on critical care who require organ support who are admitted to our critical care unit. You will also support patients requiring parenteral nutrition as part of our nutrition team.

Main duties of the job

You will have experience working in an inpatient setting, supporting patients who are acutely unwell with nutritional support, including significant experience with enteral feeding.

Excellent communication skills are essential, and you should be keen to engage with clinicians and the wider MDT. Successful candidates will work with the B7 team leads to seek opportunities to lead nutrition improvement through service improvement and audit, and you will be well supported with regular supervision.

As a department, professional development is essential to helping us grow, and opportunities exist internally and externally to learn and develop your career and we are highly supportive of this.

The post holder will be expected to participate fully in the training of 'B' and 'C' Placement student dietitians.

We currently recruiting for 1 post but have 2 options for appointment (either Band 6 or Band 7)
