This is a part time post that will support the delivery of outpatient clinics only. It is a 7PA job plan over 3.5 days.

We are currently part of the National Lung Health Check Pilot, which invites people from the community who have been smoker in the passed to have a CT scan from the age of 54.

As part of this pilot we have seen an increase in respiratory referrals in to Cancer 2ww and also routine respiratory.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to work part and be part of a pilot that will become a National screening programme in the future.

Main duties of the job

You will deliver 4 clinics per week 2 routine and 2 TWW clinics. You will be highly skilled at working autonomously and be part of a dynamic team. This is a 7PA if you are interested in part time employment.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in the management of lung cancer patients
  • Experience in the management of chronic lung disease


Qualifications

Essential

  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Full GMC Registration


Skills & Attributes

Essential

  • Willingness to fulfil the key elements of the job description
  • Possession of the clinical skills required to perform this job
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships
