Band 5 Occupational Therapist
Over the next five years, community mental health services are going to be undergoing a real transformation and you could be part of these exciting developments. Our community mental health teams will become part of a much more integrated network of services and we will be sharing our Occupational Therapy expertise to advise and augment the care and treatment being provided by our primary and third sector colleagues. Main duties of the job
As a new or recently qualified Occupational Therapist, with experience in the mental health field, you will have an excellent opportunity to implement your evidence based OT assessment tools and interventions, including being part of our group treatment programme and furthering initiatives around peer support, Vocation and Carers' involvement.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and hold Lead Practitioner responsibility for a caseload of patients. You will be working with patients to develop care plans which help enable them to achieve their goals through positive clinical outcomes.
