Library & Learning Technology and Facilities Manager, Permanent 37.0 hours per week
We are looking to recruit to the post of Library and Learning Technology and Facilities Manager, based at the Cumberland Infirmary but with some travel to other Trust sites. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the delivery of online resources, education, and training to NHS staff.
Applications would be welcome from experienced, or recent graduates, who can demonstrate relevant knowledge and experience, and/or the necessary aptitudes for the role. We would be very happy to discuss the role with potential applicants.
Main duties of the job
As part of the Knowledge & Library Service team you will develop, publish, and promote appropriate online learning materials, maintain library e-resources, manage classroom learning technologies in the Trust's Education Centres, supervise the day to day running of the Education Centres (including room bookings and usage), as well as contribute to the Library's regular customer service. You will support the effective application of technology across a diverse range of library and learning programs, working alongside our staff delivering technical support and advice. You will have experience of using a range of digital tools and software and have worked in a library, or training/educational environment.

- Qualified librarian with first degree / post graduate diploma in librarianship, information science, or equivalent.
- Chartered professional librarian or equivalent experience.

- Further qualifications or professional experience of working in digital education and/or learning technology, or equivalent area
