Paediatric Physiotherapist Band 5 – Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) (WTE 1.00)

Are you a Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge in Paediatrics or a newly qualified Physiotherapist with a keen interest to focus your career in Paediatrics? Then look no further, this is the post for you.

We are currently looking to recruit a full time Band 5 Physiotherapist in the Staffordshire area, which cover Lichfield, Tamworth, Burton on Trent and Rugeley (with potential for other surrounding areas), covered by Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a community based post suitable for a qualified individual looking to develop and progress in the Paediatric field. The successful applicant will be supported to hold a varied caseload of children and young people aged 0-19 years with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

You will be working in a variety of settings which could include clinics, children’s centres, homes, special schools, mainstream schools and nurseries across Staffordshire, it is essential you have a driving license and access to a vehicle.

Candidates should have an interest to work in the field of Paediatrics and ideally have experience and an understanding of children. A basic understanding of paediatric musculoskeletal and neurological conditions would be desirable. Support and further training will be provided to meet the individual needs of the successful candidate.

Specific Band 5 competencies will also be provided for the successful candidate to work through and is designed to support your learning.

We partnership work with other professionals including Community Paediatricians and Occupational Therapists and have regular liaisons with the Social Care Team, involving multidisciplinary meetings and joint clinics working for information sharing.

Our Team delivers the Cerebral Palsy Integrated Pathway (CPIP) programme and this role would involve training and delivery for this programme for our client group.
