People Promise Co-Ordinator 30 hours per week

This post holder will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues at the trust to improve employee experience. They will support the embedding of the NHS 7 People Promises listening to feedback and ensuring people have a voice that counts. Using all listening channels available they will work with people to make improvements to support colleagues to want to stay working in the NHS for longer.

Main duties of the job

This post holder will support the delivery of our improving employee experience priorities through the embedding of the wider NHS People Promise agenda through facilitation, engagement with stakeholders (internal and external), analysis, planning, consultation and project management

The will represent the NHS People Promises at internal meetings, training and events, presenting and promoting the this work in a positive and professional manner.

They will manage and co-ordinate the provision of data to inform decision making, across the Trust. They will provide advice, guidance and support to staff on NHS People Promises and the importance of positive employee engagement

Disclosure and Barring Service:

On 28 November 2020, the new Disclosure and Barring Service filtering rules will come into effect.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Standard Check: �18 + Administration cost of �3.85 = �21.85. Deducted at �6.85 from 1st month salary and �5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Enhanced Check: �38 + administration cost of �3.90 = �41.90. Deducted at �11.90 from 1st month salary and �10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to Degree level, or equivalent qualification, knowledge and experience.
  • Experience within Employee Engagement and Employee Experience where post holder is able to demonstrate clear knowledge of specialism


Desirable

  • Ongoing related CIPD/or equivalent relevant qualifications e.g. inclusion, OD facilitation skills


Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge and understanding of Employee engagement
  • Experience of planning and facilitating engagement with colleagues from across the trust
  • Significant experience of administrative processes and using digital systems to produce and interpreted Employee Engagement reports
  • Experience of delivering or co-delivering training to staff and managers
  • Experience of maintaining accurate staff record and sensitive information relating to monitoring information
  • Proficient user of IT equipment and software applications.
  • Knowledge of public sector service delivery, quality and performance
