An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Vascular Scientist to work in the busy and well-equipped Vascular Unit at Epsom General Hospital.
The part-time post is for a maximum of 30 hours per week. We offer flexible working patterns.
Presently, over 2500 scans are performed annually using the Philips EPIQ. A wide range of investigations are performed, including carotid & vertebral scans, AAA scans, EVAR surveillance, peripheral arterial and venous studies (upper and lower limb) and graft surveillance.
Healthcare workers and clerical staff support the unit. It is situated within Radiology and has the support of the Vascular Surgeon and the Department of Radiology.
Main duties of the job
The candidate should be qualified and experienced in performing and reporting on vascular duplex scans. The newly appointed person will be expected to share the clinical duties with another accredited vascular scientist and a sonographer.
