We are delighted to recruit to this position that would suit an experienced MH nurse. You will have some leadership experience, and experience of working with families and young people, and want to bring vision, energy and creativity to work to really make a difference to those who use our services and the working lives of nurses.

The base is flexible and you will be happy to travel as needed, and also work from home at times in line with current practice and a blended model. You will develop and maintain strong links with your nursing and MDT colleagues in CAMHS services, including operational manager and senior nursing colleagues across the CHYPS services and wider trust.

If you enjoy working with young people and their families, want to lead a group of engaged and motivated colleagues, and can manage complex cases and systems, we would welcome your application. You would have access to regular supervision and we would be discussing your bespoke development needs once in post.

Main duties of the job

You will provide clinical leadership of the home intervention service, physical health clinics and paediatric liaison workers in SFEDS. This role is a great mix of leadership and clinical work, and involves both delivering expert interventions and ensuring high standards through high quality supervision, strategic service development, and clinical leadership alongside the other lead professionals.

You will be supported by the General Manager, Lead Clinician and Service Manager to help the service achieve its KPIs, and make sure that nursing interventions in SFEDS are high quality and evidenced based. You will have a flair for collaborative working and problem solving in a multi agency context.

One of our key aims is to ensure our staff are well supported and have enjoyable, achievable roles that they can excel in. You will lead on the supervision provision for all nurses in SFEDS, and will provide to a number of colleagues.

Covid-19 full vaccination may be a condition of employment for this role, unless an exemption applies. The successful applicant may have contact with vulnerable service users and we will therefore seek proof of being fully vaccinated during the recruitment process.
