We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to support the work of preparing clients for engagement in psychological therapy. Thames Valley Pathfinder is a community based, trauma -informed service for individuals with identified personality difficulties who present a high risk of harm to others. It is a service that is part of the Thames Valley Forensic Mental Health Service. We are keen to make the service as accessible as possible to people who need it and so we have identified a need to provide additional support to help prepare people to be ready to engage in full psychological assessment and therapy.

This full-time role is offered on a fixed-term for 12 months. It involves direct client contact, supporting innovative service planning and design, developing a means of evaluating readiness interventions, and supporting the links between Thames Valley IIRMS and Thames Valley Pathfinder.
