We are looking for a full time band 7 MRI lead Radiographer to join our radiographic workforce at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.
We are lucky enough to be fully equipped with 6 CT scanners, 3 MRI scanners, 10 DR mobiles and 10 DR general rooms.
Work has started to build a new bespoke interventional suite on the Watford site, which will vastly improve our fluoroscopy services and offer exciting role development opportunities.
Our CDC in St Albans is progressing, with works starting imminently in 2024. This will include an additional CT, MRI and plain film imaging.
Outside of work you'll also benefit from being on good transport links with London (underground), being a short walk into different shopping centres and our department socials.

- Being an effective member of the Radiology team, providing a high standard of imaging services to Radiologists and patients.
- Leading and managing an MRI team.
- Mentoring staff and students.
- Completing and record keeping of QA testing.
- Participate in the Radiology Clinical Governance Programme.
- Clinically and operationally responsible for the management of the service within the Trust
