We have a new opportunity for Assistant Psychologist to support a newly created service focusing on the needs of women within the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway. The postholder will work alongside the Women's Lead for the OPD pathway (a clinical psychologist) in providing specialist consultations, assessments and interventions to women who are considered a risk of harm to others and are in contact with the criminal justice system with needs associated with personality disorders.
The postholder's role is split between Elizabeth Fry Approved Premise in Reading (2 days per week) and Oxford's forensic mental health services in Littlemore. The post is full-time, fixed term (12 months) and is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing experience as an Assistant Psychologist to help shape the development of a new service that will help determine the future of services for women within the OPD pathway.
The postholder will also become part of a large, diverse and engaging forensic service psychology department where we are a really interested in supporting each others professional development and enjoy the roles we have.
