Would you like to work in a large Integrated Therapy Division within the beautiful countryside of Suffolk?
Opportunities exist for rotational Band 6 post within Ipswich Hospital and East Suffolk Community Services.
Rotations include, but not limited to:
Surgery, Critical Care Unit, Medical and Acute Respiratory, Complex Elderly, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Acute Stroke, Sub-acute Neuro-Rehab, Respiratory Outpatients, Spinal rehabilitation, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. These rotations are the current rotational areas but are subject to change.
This job offer is also open to Band 5 on a developmental role to Band 6.
Our therapy teams are well established and enthusiastic about delivering high quality services. We have regular In-Service training sessions, clinical supervision and opportunities to get involved with Quality Improvement projects.
Main duties of the job
To participate in the annual Band 6 rotational scheme.
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, and deliver an individualised treatment programme from a range of options.
To undertake comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to assist in diagnosis, and choose from a range of treatment options to achieve the desired goal. To formulate treatment plans and recommend best course of intervention, considering patients' personal goals and objectives, to develop comprehensive discharge plans.
