About us

The curriculum has recently been restructured to conform to revised GMC requirements. There is a course of study for the Uniting Examining Board and Accelerated Graduate Entry Course. St George's is the only medical school in the area encompassing the former South Thames West Region and has formal link with the Epsom and St Helier Trust for the training of undergraduates and postgraduate students.

The otolaryngology service has been successfully configured on the 'hub and spoke' model and following its work as an 'Action on ENT' Pilot site has been developed into a formal network. The Service is centered at St George's where complex surgery is carried out. Day surgery is performed at a number of partner hospitals- Kingston (KH), Epsom, St Helier (E/SH) and the Mayday (MH)- fed through outpatient services at these hospitals.
