If you are looking for a new challenge as part of a dynamic and supportive team, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to develop and drive forward our service provision in medicine. The ideal candidate will deliver a strategy to develop the team ethos and clinical expertise in this area to encourage team members to thrive and develop a passion for medical physiotherapy. They will do this through enhancing their own clinical and managerial skills, scoping out further opportunities for development for themselves and others in regards to enhanced and advance practice.

As well as taking pride in caring for our patients, we also prioritise taking care of our staff! You will be part of a very warm and welcoming team who thoroughly understand the challenges of the role and the importance of supporting each other.

Main duties of the job

Leadership: provide motivational leadership promoting medicine as an area of physiotherapy which is both challenging and rewarding.

Management: manage the team with an eye for detail and vision for the future within the wider physiotherapy department.

Clinical: whilst have responsibility for your own caseload, develop expertise in the field of frailty and care of the older person.

Supervision: provide regular supervision for members of your team so they are likewise encouraged to do the same when undertaking their own supervision responsibilities.

Educate: provide teaching, training and specialist clinical advice to other professionals.

CPD: with excellent time management find opportunities for your own development.
