Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a Band 6 Physiotherapist to work in our Working Age Adults (three days per week) Mental Health in-patient units at Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford and the Abraham Cowley Unit, Chertsey. The Abraham Cowley unit is being re developed from April 2022 to April 2024 so the role will initially be based at Farnham Road Hospital until the Abraham Cowley Unit reopens.

You will be working within the Acute Therapy Service providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment for service users with mental health needs to the Adult Acute Inpatient Wards. The team is multidisciplinary and provides a variety of therapeutic interventions including Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Diversional Activity.

The post holder’s duties will be contributing to the multidisciplinary care of in-patients both in direct clinical contacts and at team level. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate good skills and a strong commitment to working in partnership with multidisciplinary colleagues.
