Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for Speech and Language Therapists with skills and knowledge in paediatrics to join our team. We have a number of newly funded posts across our Early Years and schools service. Successful candidates can express preference for a single post in one area or split posts across early years and schools. The Early Years' team offers specialist assessment, intervention and advice for younger children who present with a variety of speech language and communication needs. This includes children with social communication difficulties, developmental language disorder, dysfluency and language delay. Although primarily clinic based the service has strong links with children centres, nurseries and early years' settings where therapist may also be required to work and provide training.

Person Specification Education/ Qualification Essential

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree/Post graduate degree Qualification or equivalent
• Health Professions Council - Licence to Practise

Desirable

• Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
