Community Nurse - East Norwich Community Nursing Team

Employer
Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust
Location
Norwich
Salary
£28,407 to £34,581 pro rata per annum
Closing date
12 Mar 2024
The East Norwich Community Nursing team has an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our friendly and supportive team of Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Assistant Practitioners and Nursing Associates, to provide nursing care and interventions across Norwich Place. We are a well-established team who are passionate about Community Nursing and aspire to give our patients the very best care that we can give.

We treat patients in their own homes, residential homes, supported living complexes, and also provide catheter clinic and leg ulcer clinic services. The kind of nursing care we provide is vast, and includes (but is not limited to) diabetes management, wound care, catheter care, palliative care and post-operative care. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given in each area. A comprehensive induction and supernumerary period will be enacted on appointment.

As a Band 5 Nurse within our team you would be thoroughly supported by your colleagues, and in time you would have the opportunity to show your support to others such as working with Nursing Students and junior colleagues. At NCH& C we are passionate about furthering the development of our staff and you would have ample opportunity to attend specialised training and courses to facilitate this.

Informal discussions and visits are welcomed.
