The Lead Insight Analyst - HR Analytics is a unique opportunity to make a real impact at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust. By providing valuable insights and analysis, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in our organisation.

As the Lead Insight Analyst, you will be at the forefront of this effort, working closely with HR and operational teams to understand their needs and providing actionable recommendations based on your findings.

This is a supervisory post, and you will be responsible for the management and development of Senior/Insight Analysts within your section. The role provides an excellent opportunity to progress your career and develop your personal skill set.

Main duties of the job

You will need a degree level qualification, or equivalent experience, and ideally have advanced knowledge and experience of workforce systems including ESR. You need to have an analytical mind, and experience of reporting tools such as T-SQL, SSRS and Power BI.

The use of reporting tools to interpret and summarise data is essential, as is a keen sense for effectively communicating with data, using the Trust's SQL data warehouse, SSRS reporting and Power BI dashboards.

  • Degree in Informatics or related subject or equivalent professional qualification or experience

  • Significant experience of providing an information support service
  • Experience in research techniques and systems to support service development and transformation
