Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for staff to express of interest and apply for the Community Operational Manager for the Walsall Locality. The post is being offered as an Band 8a level and will support the Senior Operational Manager to lead the locality Community Teams.

The service works with adults with a range of complex mental health needs, providing treatment and supporting their management. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the Senior Operational Manager to enable these multi-disciplinary teams deliver a high quality, standard of care. The post holder will also support clinical and non-clinical staff in a range of activity ensuring the teams are committed to delivering high quality standards of clinical care.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to possess excellent communication, management and leadership skills. You are expected to have experience of working with this service user group, be caring, compassionate and self-motivated. The post holder will lead on the Trust's Community Transformation programme andensure its safe delivery within the community teams. The post holder will need to proficient in managing a range of changing needs and competing demands.
