Are you graduating or recently qualified as a dietitian, wishing to gain experience working in a community setting or to consolidate your dietetic experience before moving onto a more specialised role?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our friendly and supportive team, providing specialist dietetic outreach services to adults living in Bradford.

Supported by the Dietitian Team Lead and working alongside a wider team providing services to learning disabilities/mental health, home enteral feeding (HEF) and proactive care, you will provide a dietetic service, including HEF to adults with neurological conditions. You will also provide cover support for colleagues working in CVD (coronary heart disease, heart failure and stroke)

You will manage your own caseload of patients and enjoy a varied workload including individual dietetic consultations, community home visits and group education. Flexible working (including some working from home) is supported in this role.

Main duties of the job

You will have a drive to develop yourself and others to improve patient care and deliver the values of Bradford Nutrition and Dietetic Services - Leading Nutrition, Valuing People and Showing Our Worth. All newly qualified dietitians are encouraged and supported to participate in the Trust's Preceptorship programme.

You will fully participate in the training of 'B' and 'C' Placement student dietitians.

Applicants must be HCPC registered dietitians, who have obtained relevant clinical dietetic experience, and who are car drivers with access to a car to meet the requirement to regularly travel across working sites.

Bradford's Nutrition & Dietetic Service is a dynamic team of over 60 Dietitians working in Acute, Community and Primary Care settings, supported by an excellent clerical team with good IT and library facilities.
