Are you looking for a new challenge or ready to step up your in career to a senior position? Are you passionate about providing excellent nursing care to older people? If so we have two posts available for permanent Mental Health Nurses at Avon House working in our Community Older Peoples Team.

Main duties of the job

You will have the necessary skills and experience to work autonomously in the community when needed and be an active member of our multidisciplinary team. You will care coordinate a caseload of complex cases which will be challenging at times as well as rewarding. You will have the the ability to understand and manage the complexities of both functional Illness and dementia alongside the multitude of co-existing factors that affect the health and wellbeing of our older aged service users and their carers and families.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
