What is of paramount importance is a genuine desire to work compassionately and creatively with service users who are often in crisis and acutely distressed.

Mental health services within the prison are multidisciplinary in nature, encompassing nursing, psychology, and therapies staff and work within a stepped model of care. The In-Reach team works with a wide variety of service users who are often complex and comorbid providing holistic assessment, brief interventions, and comprehensive risk assessments. This is an exciting and varied role in a challenging and fast paced environment. You will play an integral in supporting the team in delivering a high standard of care to service users within the wider prison.

The successful candidate will have to complete successful employment checks and prison vetting. You will be required to have a current right to work and reside in the UK.

There is a subsidised staff cafeteria and free gym access to the successful candidate within the prison.
