Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust (LSCFT) are currently investing in the mental health services within the Bay Network. The Bay network (Lancaster and Morecambe and South Cumbria) has 4 inpatient units, these units are across the sites based in Kendal (Kentmere new 12 bed mixed sex ward opening July 2022) and Barrow in Furness (Ramsay; 15 bedded mixed sex Dementia ward and Dova an 18 bedded mixed sex acute ward) and Lancaster (The Orchard a 18 bedded mixed sex acute ward). As part of this role you will support and work along the Matron covering The Orchard and Kentmere Acute wards and provide additional cover and cross cover where clinical leadership and management is required.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate must be able demonstrate excellent leadership, clinical and interpersonal qualities, have a positive outlook and hold in-depth and up to date knowledge of the inpatient mental health environments.

The successful post holder will be required to work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week.
