Vaughan Thomas ward is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and confident newly qualified and experienced Registered Mental Nurses to become part of the team on our male acute psychiatric ward. The ideal candidates should be keen to further their experience and learning on a fast-paced ward providing the highest quality care.
Could this be for you?
We offer a wide range of therapeutic interventions to the men admitted to our acute ward and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care during the entirety of their stay. We provide care for up to 18 patients, as well as having a first line 136 suite. We offer continual support to family and friends with our weekly group, a concept that has developed and grown far beyond Vaughan Thomas ward with several of our sister wards following in our footsteps.
Have you got what it takes?
Can you work independently but ask for help and advice when needed? Can you support a team even on those tough shifts? Can you maintain our high standards of care, even when under pressure? If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you!
Here on Vaughan Thomas ward we can offer you;
Vaughan Thomas ward has been voted #1 out of 6 wards, for patient and family satisfaction for the past 4 months. This is a status we want to continue achieving, so our entire team can be confident that the care they are giving is recognised as the best by those who matter most.
And if that’s not enough we are the first ward in the country to pilot ground-breaking technology, to enable a more streamline and productive approach to Observations and patient dignity.
What we need from you!
On Vaughan Thomas ward we understand that nursing is not just a job, but a calling, a passion and a way of life, and even on the toughest days, it’s all worth it. We look forward to hearing from you!
