Family & Systemic Psychotherapist

Hours: 37.5hpw

Pay scale: AFC Band 8a

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Family & Systemic Psychotherapist with eating disorder experience to work in our Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Team. We are a well-established team in South Staffordshire currently delivering eating disorder treatment to our young people and families.

It’s an exciting, but challenging time for our CYP Eating Disorders Service in South Staffordshire. Our service is expanding due to significant new investment which is expanding to accept referrals for young people presenting with ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) but this post is a current established substantive post that we are recruiting too.

The team has established family therapy clinics and clinicians are trained and experienced in family treatment model; alongside other treatments (NICE guidance). There is a strong multi-disciplinary team working ethos.

This role will be delivering across both the Eating Disorder and ARFID elements of the service. You will have the benefit of working with an established but growing multi-disciplinary CYP-Eating Disorders.

This post comes at a time when we are launching a number of new developments due to investment opportunities across the range of our CAMHS provision. In addition to the developments in the Eating Disorders team, we are also seeing significant growth of our CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Support team, as well as further development of our Mental Health Support Teams in schools.

So, this is a time of considerable growth and development which makes it a great opportunity for you to come and join us. As a team we have always had the benefits of access to training in addition to regular clinical and management supervision. You can rely on the support of our team as well as strong links to colleagues in wider services and the support of professional leadership.
