An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist who wishes to develop both their clinical and operational skills. You will be joining the Hertfordshire Community Specialist Learning Disability Service, where you will have the chance to work as part of a dedicated and forward-thinking MDT, with a passion and drive to improve the lives and wellbeing of individuals with a Learning Disability.

You will be joining a well-established and creative Occupational Therapy service, where you will be able to use your core Occupational Therapy skills to promote and enable participation and independence in Activities of Daily living; whilst having the opportunity to strengthen and develop these skills in specialist areas such as Sensory Integration and Positive Behaviour Support; whilst understanding the impact of Physical Health needs on overall health and well-being for those with a Learning Disability.

We are a supportive and forward-thinking team, with great peer networks and actively promote learning opportunities and professional development in both clinical and leadership fields of work.

The team is part of a forward-thinking Trust who are rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC and a winner of the HSJ Mental Health Trust of the Year award. We were rated the 4th highest best places to work in the country in the latest NHS survey.

Please note, this is a community post that may require extensive travel across Hertfordshire.
