We are excited to be able offer a number of Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship positions at the Forest Centre, St Marys Hospital.

If you are looking to start your career in healthcare and are passionate about providing excellent care for patients and our service users this position could be for you. You will be working closely with the clinical team to build your knowledge and skills in the healthcare profession. The inpatient service focuses on Older Age Adults with Mental Health conditions including dementia and functional illness.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work within and support a dedicated multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidates will be supported to complete the Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship. NHFT will also provide a high level of support and training, giving the opportunity to learn valuable new skills.

The successful applicants will be given an 18 months fixed contract to work as an Apprentice Adult Care Worker.

Upon successful completion of assigned apprenticeship individuals displaying NHFT's expected values and behaviors for healthcare professionals with be signposted to vacancies within the Trust.
