Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Stockport; are currently seeking two enthusiastic CY Psychological wellbeing practitioners (CYPWP) to join our team and work within our emotional and mood disorder pathway to offer assessment and evidence based interventions for children and young people.

The post holders will be based in the CAMHS outpatient department which operates Monday to Friday within the hours of 9am to 5pm. CAMHS is located in temporary outpatient accommodation in Denton, Manchester, and is part of the Pennine Care Mental Health Foundation Trust.

The successful post holders will be offered specialist clinical supervision and separate line management; this is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in developing their clinical skills and gaining experience of working in a specialist mental health service.

The post-holder will work within Stockport supporting the team with a range of assessment and other interventions on an individual and wider systems basis under close clinical supervision from more senior staff. Case management and liaison on an individual and group basis will be an important aspect of the role to both the service users and other professionals.
