An exciting opportunity for a Psychologist has arisen is the CAMHs Outreach service for Children & Adolescents team. You will have the opportunity to work within an award winning CAMHs team, with children and their families who require intensive community support due to pervasive, chronic mental health needs that find it difficult to engage with generic CAMHs services.
This role needs someone who can be flexible, adaptable and creative in their approach to work with children and families, as well as multi-agency working, to deliver excellent, holistic care. There will be opportunities to input into service development and evaluation as well as be a part of a national research looking at outcomes of delivery assertive outreach.
You will be based within the multi-disciplinary team, offering group and individual supervision that support clinician’s delivery adapted creative interventions supported by evidenced therapy. As well as the opportunity to develop in DBT.
The OSCA service is based at Raglan House in Cowley, however provides support county wide within Oxfordshire, meaning there is an expectation to be able to travel to children and families' homes and other clinic bases. We would consider and potentially support flexible and hybrid working, this includes consideration for flexible or parttime working. As well as consideration for a development post of Band 7 to 8a.
