A great opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader for the Crisis Team in Chichester. The Crisis team is based at Chapel Street in Chichester and is part of the Urgent Care pathway covering Chichester and Bognor.

Main duties of the job

The Team Lead role is pivotal in defining and developing the team's function, approach and ethos. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has a positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing a high quality of care, safe evidence-based practice and clear leadership skills.

The CRHTT team leader will be working within a multi professional team of Nurses, Psychiatrist, CBT therapist, Support workers and Peer Support workers

Job description Job responsibilities

The Team Lead should have excellent communication skills and demonstrate good management coordination. The successful candidate will work with the team to ensure that the core functions of the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment are carried out safely within a cohesive team. It is vital the candidate displays excellent clinical knowledge, risk assessment and risk management skills, and be part of the complex case reviews

There are weekly multi professional meeting that the CRHTT will need to attend and provide supervision of staff and continue to build good relationships with ATS and urgent care pathway as social care and third sector partners.

The candidate will be working closely with CRHTT Discharge Lead and Urgent Care Manager as part of a leadership team.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
  • Educated to minimum diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of CPD
Knowledge/Experience Essential
  • Significant experience of and demonstrable achievement in clinical practice
  • Experience of providing professional support/supervision and motivation of staff
  • Understanding of Health and Social Care Governance
  • Experience of managing staff
