An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time experienced Nurse (either RMN or RGN) to join the i-access Detoxification Team predominantly based in the East of Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging and diverse role. You will be joining an experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team in a supportive working environment, with a visible and accessible management team who are committed to providing a high quality of service to our population.

The successful candidate would be enthusiastic, committed to working with people with substance misuse problems and supporting them towards improving their health and wellbeing in their recovery from addiction. As a detoxification nurse the main part of your role will involve facilitating people’s journey through the detoxification phase of their treatment. You will need to be confident in your own clinical skills and experience of detoxification interventions is essential. You will mainly be based at our East Surrey base but there will be requirements to travel to cover our other base in Chertsey on occasion. As part of the role there will be a requirement to support the wider i-access community team outside of your main role with the detoxification team. This will involve, but is not limited to, supporting clinics, BBV interventions, covering duty and carrying a small caseload.

This is a role that would interest anyone looking to further their knowledge of detoxification, effects of alcohol/drugs on the body and enhance their clinical skills in this specialist area.
