We are looking for a clinical psychologist to join our thriving multidisciplinary team within Salisbury CAMHS. This is chance to join our Trust at an exciting time as we transform our services guided by the iThrive model. This will be working in our Getting More Help and The Eating Disorder Service (TEDs)
Salisbury is a beautiful city with a thriving Arts scene. It is 10 miles from Stonehenge and embedded in Salisbury Plain and West Wiltshire Downs. Salisbury is also 20 miles from the coast. There are military camps nearby and approximately 8% of children in Wiltshire live in military families. There are direct train links with London/Bath and Southampton.
The post holder will be involved in planning and delivering assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex mental health problems, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team colleagues. We have strong links with the Bath Doctorate Program in Clinical Psychology, with trainee psychologists on placement and the opportunity for joint research projects. There is a strong clinical psychology network across the trust, with regular opportunities for professional development. There are opportunities for both face to face and digital home working. Flexible hours and hybrid working are options and can be discussed at interview.
The post holder will play a strong role in supporting colleagues to reflect on their practice in supervision. The post holder will be a full member of the multi-disciplinary team, joining in team meetings and discussion and supporting with duty and initial assessments into the service.
