- Supporting mobility to access education, play and perform activities of daily living as children and adults.

- Participate as valued members of their community regardless of physical, learning and mental health needs.

- Empowering families and carers to support children’s development and quality of life

As the damaging effects of the pandemic on children and young people with SEND become clear, so too does the need to ensure that we are all playing our role in supporting them.(Ofsted report; Amanda Spielman; Published 16 June 2021). Physiotherapy has a crucial role to play in supporting children and young people.

As part of our Covid recovery plan Solent Children’s Therapy Service has created a range of positions to support the therapy needs of children across Hampshire.

We are an experienced and supportive team that has excellent working relationships with early years, schools, health and social care colleagues allowing us to share our expertise more widely and create innovative ways of working together to better meet the needs of the child and their family / carers.

At Solent NHS Trust, our approach to delivering children’s therapy services is innovative, refreshing and above all, caring. We are committed to putting patient care first and we are looking for dedicated professionals who share our HEART values and our passion for delivering high quality care. Solent was recently awarded a ‘Good’ in four domains and an ‘Outstanding’ in the caring domain, which is something we are really proud about. As a valued member of Solent NHS Trust, we’ll offer you a competitive salary, NHS pension, ongoing training and development and good quality working conditions.

Come and join our innovative, friendly, and well led team.
