Are you passionate about working with young people and families, helping to make a difference to their childhood and influence their outcomes in later life?
Do you want to join a creative, supportive and dynamic team who strive for excellent care for neurodiverse young people?
The Neurodevelopmental Conditions (NDC) Service is part of Oxfordshire CAMHS. We are the specialist service for autism and ADHD for young people aged 5-18 and their families/carers living in Oxfordshire. We are a multidisciplinary team who are passionate about neurodiversity, providing specialist assessment, psychoeducation, complex case support and evidence-based group and individual interventions.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join the NDC. The post holder will be part of the specialist multidisciplinary team undertaking neurodevelopmental assessments of young people. They will also provide specialist advice to the team and other colleagues around communication, co-facilitate groups for parents and be part of service development.
The NDC Service values person-centered care and are keen to be supportive for flexible working. We welcome applications for full or part time working.
If you are passionate about neurodiversity and would like to know more, including visits to the service, please contact Laura Mackenzie, Clinical Team Manager.
