An exciting opportunity has become available for a newly qualified clinical psychologist to join the CYP Community Eating Disorder Service. The team are an established multi-disciplinary service offering assessment, formulation and treatment to children and young people with moderate to severe eating disorders or disordered eating. The role offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to access development opportunities in this specialist area of work including additional training, mentoring and supervision. The successful candidate will have a development plan into the role of Senior Clinical Psychologist within the service.
There is also an additional vacancy of full time fixed term maternity leave cover.
Main duties of the job
Offer Psychological Interventions to children, young people and carers.
Provide assessment, develop formulations and treatment interventions.
Work as part of an established multi-disciplinary team.
Develop and be part of group work intervention.
Provide audit and research opportunities.
