We have a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a developing model for Mental Health Social Work, alongside a passionate integrated team within the Community Adult Mental Health Team here at Oxford Health based in Aylesbury Vale. The role focuses on enabling, supporting and empowering adults of working age (18-64 years), whilst using nationally recognised practices such as strengths-based approach and the recovery model alongside those experiencing severe and enduring mental health conditions.

This role provides the excellent opportunity for social workers who are passionate about mental health and experienced within adult social care to work in an integrated model for care and treatment. You will be bring your social work perspective to promote wellbeing and self-determination for those you support. In addition to advancing your professionalism and leadership skills within the health setting.

Oxford Health and Buckinghamshire Council are working collaboratively to ensure Mental Health Social Workers are supported with their continuing professional development. The creativity and national recognition for mental health services continues to outline extensive opportunities for specialising as a practitioner. This is an opportunity for experienced clinician with concrete knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983, Human Rights Act 1998 and Equality Act 2010 to thrive in this field of social work.
