We are delighted to announce we have two vacancies for a Psychiatric Liaison Practitioner (Band 6) post in the Acute Liaison service. We are keen to recruit expert clinicians into these posts.

If you are a highly motivated person with a ready to do attitude and a sound knowledge and skills, then we are keen to hear from you.

You will have an excellent and positive approach to work with an outstanding demonstrable background of providing high quality care. You will have an insight into liaison psychiatry and the national guidelines impacting these services. You will have experience and willingness to teach and educate others within the team and the wider network as well as a commitment to service development and the best possible outcomes for people in the acute hospital setting.

You will be a flexible and keen nurse, occupational therapist, or social worker; you will vehemently support the best interests and engagement of the individual and their carers and family.

The team is a CORE 24, PLAN accredited team. Therefore, you will be joining an already established team that will be ready to support you to excel even more than you are doing currently.

We have an exciting Programme of work to build two new Mental Health Inpatient Hospitals in Surrey; one in Chertsey and one in Redhill. In order to do this, we need to temporarily move the services that are based at the Abraham Cowley Unit (ACU) in Chertsey in March 2022.

Please contact Belinda Manyumbu on 07384 248021 for any questions.
