We really want to hear from you if you are an enthusiastic HCPC registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist wanting to develop your clinical, supervisory and leadership skills. We are also happy to hear from other accredited psychological therapists that can demonstrate they meet the person specification.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (0.6 WTE) to join our thriving CAMHS team in Swindon for 6 months.
This specialist multi-disciplinary team offers a fantastic opportunity for joint working and collaboration as well as offering good professional links and supervision with the clinical psychologists in the CAMHS team.
The post holder will be involved in planning and delivering a range of psychological services to children and young people (0-18) with mental health problems. There will be plenty of opportunities to use and develop skills in psychological consultation and systemic working, as well as developing relationships with other agencies including Social Care and Special Schools.
We are highly committed to CPD and it is an exciting time in the CAMHS Service. There is an active Clinical Psychology body across the area (BSW) who meet regularly, promoting professional development and providing opportunity for specialist supervision and shared learning. There are also plans to develop professional links across Oxford Health (into Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire) which will offer further opportunity for specialist CPD and networking.
We would also encourage Band 7s with a strong commitment to children and young people with Mental Health Difficulties to get in touch as we would be open to consider this as a development opportunity with the Job Description amended accordingly.
