This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead our expanding Mental Health Support Team.
You will be managing an outward facing team offering low intensity interventions in schools, whole school approaches and enhancing and enabling schools to get the right support for children and young people in the right place and at the right time. In line with the government’s priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) workforce offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors in England.
In this hugely important team role, you’ll manage and supervise a diverse group of staff from a range of professional backgrounds, provide great leadership with enthusiasm for service transformation and determination to provide outstanding quality of care, ensuring that children and young people are kept at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be responsible for coordinating and motivating the team, having robust oversight of waiting lists and working with key colleagues to ensure continuity of service.
Our team is expanding and we need a leader to cover maternity leave for 1 year fixed term.
