Based within East Locality CMHT

The East Locality Older Adult Community Mental Health Team within Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Band 6, Social Worker to join the Team.

The Locality Teams provide support to older adults with complex and enduring mental health issues. The teams offer a range of management strategies and interventions including various psychological therapies. Care and support is offered in line with the CPA approach.

Applicants must demonstrate a flexible approach, evolving around the needs of service users, their families and significant others. The role involves working as a team member, with the responsibility of a mixed caseload of functional and organic cases.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with excellent team working skills, who is keen to develop their knowledge and skills in this area. You should be a competent and motivated practitioner with appropriate demonstrable experience. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and therapeutic intervention in the community
