We run the italk service in partnership with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust which is one of the largest Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the country. We are currently recruiting for:
STEP 2 LONG TERM CONDITIONS HUB LEAD PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING PRACTITIONER (italk)
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
(part time min 30 hours per week considered) (occasional Saturday required)
Salary: £39,140 (Pro Rata) Per Annum
Location: Either Eastleigh (West Hub), Gosport (East Hub), Basingstoke (North Hub)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in line with expansion of the italk service to expand the Step 2 team with this new Long-term Conditions HUB Lead PWP role.
We are looking to recruit to a new lead role to work alongside the Clinical Management team to manage the organisation and co-ordination of Low Intensity interventions for people with common mental health difficulties alongside long-term health conditions. You will need to be a good role model with strong professional boundaries to provide support and leadership, both clinically and operationally, across our hubs within Hampshire. The ability to negotiate and build relationships with external agencies is also vital to this role.
The post holder will need a secure knowledge of Step 2 IAPT based treatments in order to deliver these to patients as well as to help develop, support, train and provide clinical supervision to the rest of the team. They will also need relevant training and experience in adapting step 2 treatments to work with people with long-term health conditions who may also benefit from our IAPT service. You will also have opportunities to develop the Step 2 provision within italk and its expansion in the upcoming years.
The role is perfect for Senior PWPs who are looking to develop a service and develop their career within Step 2 Low Intensity IAPT.
