Main duties of the job

In order to apply you will be a Registered Mental Health nurse currently practicing and due to qualify in the next few months.

- Avenham Ward (Female PICU)
- Duxbury Ward (Female Acute)
- Worden Ward (Male Acute)
As a nurse in LSCFT you will be central to providing high quality care and be given opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential
- Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification.(RNMH & RNLD)
- On-going registration with the NMC.
- Can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments
- Can demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
- Experience of assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing care needs.
