Do you want to be part of setting up a innovative, forward thinking, new service?

Following additional investment from local Commissioners we are pleased to be developing a new Pediatric Liaison Team for Hertfordshire providing a service to young people who are admitted to acute wards for physical health concerns who also require mental health/ emotional well-being support. The service will be operating from Watford Hospital and Lister Hospital. and you will work closely with pediatric colleagues and be aligned to the HPFT CAMHS Crisis team

We are looking to appoint an experienced clinician who has the ability to provide strong leadership and is able to work with a range of different agencies to support young people but also the wider health and social care system and provide support to parent/carers when required.

This post-holder will work as one of two Clinical Nurse Specialists in the team, under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Lead. You will need to work autonomously, possess strong assessments skills and be able to provide direct clinical interventions to children and young people and
will also provide support, advice, consultation and training to a range of professionals across the two acute hospitals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to further develop their skills in an area that is challenging but extremely rewarding and to be part of this exciting new team.

If you feel you have the skills and experience we are looking for then we would welcome an application from you.
